Our examinations revealed that during her previous surgery, four screws were placed in her spine, two of which had gone through the spinal canal and lost function. Because the screws were insufficient and her pain and movement problems persisted, it was necessary to revise the surgery and correct the deficiencies. In our two-hour operation, we stabilized the damaged spine and placed eight screws. The operation was successful. The patient was mobilized and walked the day after surgery. All her pain and movement difficulties disappeared, and she was discharged back to Batumi in good health.”
