MPGCARE’s International Health Event in Central Asia
MPGCARE’s International Health Event in Central Asia: Seminar on Current Diagnosis and Treatment Methods in Breast Cancer Attracted Great Interest
MPGCARE, known for its international achievements in the field of health tourism, added another milestone to its women’s health awareness efforts. In Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, a seminar titled “Current Treatments, Diagnosis and Methods in Breast Cancer” was organized in cooperation with Istanbul Oncology Hospital, and created a strong impact in the healthcare sector.
The seminar featured expert speakers such as Prof. Dr. Nuri Tasalı, General Director of Istanbul Oncology Hospital, Prof. Dr. Levent Çelik, President of the Breast Cancer Radiology Association, and Dr. Cem Yılmaz from the European School of Breast Surgery. Throughout the event, the importance of early diagnosis, modern imaging techniques, surgical methods, and personalized treatment approaches were addressed in detail.
🔬 Early Diagnosis Saves Lives
Prof. Dr. Levent Çelik emphasized that breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women: “Breast cancer, when diagnosed early, has a very high treatment success rate. Mammography and breast ultrasound are our most important tools in this process. It is vital that women have these screenings once a year.”
👩⚕️ Modern Lifestyle Increases Risk
Dr. Cem Yılmaz pointed out that lifestyle changes brought by western living have led to an increase in breast cancer cases: “Having fewer children, giving birth at an older age, and unhealthy diets are factors that increase the risk of breast cancer. However, when detected at an early stage, the treatment process is much easier and more successful.”
🌍 MPGCARE’s Contribution to Regional Health Diplomacy
The event attracted great attention not only from healthcare professionals in Uzbekistan but also from participants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. With around 400 attendees, the seminar became a regional hub for knowledge sharing and once again showcased MPGCARE’s vision and professional organizational skills in health tourism.
🗣️ At the end of the seminar, participants emphasized that such scientific events contribute significantly to women’s health in the region and should be held more frequently. In particular, MPGCARE’s leadership and international coordination in this field received great appreciation.
